Screen on evidence, take the case to committee and release capital against the business's own file. One file before the decision, the same file after.
For banks, development finance institutions, foundations and corporate ESD funds that finance small businesses.
1 Screening
Set the capital, ticket, terms and requirements once and Mothusi reads every authorised file against them: 48 of 1,247 meet all nine, 31 are one requirement away, and the 48 are invited today.

2 Nearly ready
Every business gets one of three answers, ready now, nearly ready or not yet ready, each naming the gap and the work that closes it: for Puleng Transport, one reviewed invoice, not a no.

3 The application
Registration, tax, bank statements, signed orders and customer proof come in from Mokoena Construction's file, 23 fields prefilled, so Thabo is asked only for the two things the facility still needs, and nothing goes without him.

4 The case
Mothusi drafts the memo from the file, footnotes R214k a month to the bank statements and 68% concentration to the customer register, flags the 40-day-old quote, and the analyst edits it and owns the recommendation.

5 The decision
Five members vote on the same case with their reasons on record, and each approved condition gets an owner, a timing and a state, so contracting opens only when the quotation is verified and the cession confirmed.

6 Release
Four conditions precedent cleared by name and date, R1.35m paid to Barloworld on delivery with invoice, delivery note, serial number and insurance on file, and R450k held behind a gate a named finance role must approve.

7 The portfolio
Repayments, milestones, tranche gates and each business's monthly signals sit together, and whatever needs a decision goes to a named owner with a due date: four exceptions across 22 facilities, not 22 files to reopen.

8 Month 12
Month 12 puts R36.8m disbursed and 21 of 22 facilities current beside 16 businesses improved, 5 held and 1 weakened, 3 up a stage, with every movement openable to its source, reviewer and date.

Money you can run
Money for a set purpose, not paid back, with applications, decisions, signed agreements and the amount paid out kept on each business's file.
Money paid back over time on agreed terms, with the amount, interest, fees, payment dates and repayment plan on each agreement.
Study or training costs for a person rather than a business, with the same applications, decisions and agreements.
